How we are going to be safer.
Gun Control is often very hard for us to understand because we are not members of the intellectual elite. Therefore I decided to cut through the confusion of "big words" and use this picture to illustrate the forth coming peaceful utopia America will be experiencing in the near future.

I feel safer already...
I have to wonder if this is not a gun control ploy after all. Maybe it's a ploy to spur the sale of 1911s in NY.
So in NY, it sounds like 7+1 is legal, since the magazine still only has 7 rounds. But if I accomplish that by putting 8 in the magazine and then chambering it, i'm a felon. But if I insert a 7 round magazine, chamber a round, remove the magazine and add one round back in...I'm perfectly legal.
Yeah, this all makes so much sense.
They know this.
They do not care.
I'm not wasting my breath trying to explain things any more.

I felt safe then scared then safe and then scared again.
All I can say is if you're out hunting with 7-9 bullets (because they tell us no one needs 10 to kill a deer) you'd better hope you don't piss off a bear... I don't think with their thick skin that would be near enough!

WOW.
When the average number of rounds that need to be fired to subdue or drive off a single attacker is 7, we'd all better hope we're never attacked by more than 1 person, AND that we're either a better shot than average or attacked by someone who is more cowardly than average.

ok, now that NY is changing their law to allow 10 round magazines, but only allow you to load to 7 rounds, how the law-abiding mass murderer will of course only have 7 rounds in his 10 round magazine, making us much safer.
