A quick thank you

So this happened...

The Sound of One Hand Shooting | Shooting Illustrated

Thank you to you all who read my scribbling here on the internet, it encourages me to write more, and apparently now for other people as well.

I've got a new post coming sometime this week for the Practactical 101 series, so stay tuned.

On a side note..

If you happen to be a boy who reads Straight Forward in a Crooked World and you sit everyday in school dreaming about guns, hunting trips, and wild adventures only to hear a teacher tell you to stop "wasting your time day dreaming".

Pay them no mind. And one day prove them wrong.

As the others have said, keep writing. You have an ability with words that is tempered by unique experience that I really look forward to reading.

Your expressed experience coupled with your writing and the suggestions that can be put to every day self defense make reading your blog something to anticipate.
I have one suggestion. The field in which you work would seem to lend itself to great short stories by you and some of those with which you are familiar.

Ha! I used to read American Handgunner and Combat Handguns in school in the 80's. Wouldn't fly now. Bunch of us kept the gun du jour in our cars so we could hunt on the way home from school!

Another girl who, while dreaming about guns and wild adventures at her corporate job, found your blog. As a new shooter, I'm a sponge for instruction. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I think we all still dream about grand adventures, guns and hunting trips. It's always good to hear those same sentiments from the too!

There is a book in the works.

And I'm always glad to read that this little corner of the internets provides some knowledge to others along the way. I'm always chasing it myself.

Count another appreciative lurker who will be keeping an eye out for the book.
