Perhaps...

What we should stop doing in the wake of any attack from anyone is listening to the "talking" points of academics, politicians, or psychologists who have no real world experience in most anything let alone contending with dangerous armed men bent of committing evil. And instead listen to dangerous, armed men who are committed to preserving society.

Perhaps also instead of using that cell phone on your hip to call state sponsored men with guns to take out a threat, people should start doing away with the middle man, and take out the threat themselves with a different piece of hardware, also carried at the hip.

Amen.

And Amen.

The latest dirtbag shooting up a dis-armed victim zone is yet another example of "academics" proving that education removes sound judgment.

I refuse to use the term "COMMON SENSE" because it is an oxymoron.

For years I have refused to use the term "Common Sense" because it is so uncommon. I prefer "Horse Sense", but I have repeatedly been told by people who know horses that is also a misnomer. And "Mother Wit", to use a term I learned from black schoolmates growing up, seems to be in short supply with mothers nowadays.

The problem with your suggestion, sir, is that those who protect and preserve society are doing so, and as such may well be too busy to compete with the talking heads.

The talking heads, on the other hand, have nothing better to do. They get paid to talk, about anything at all.
